DR. JOHN R. MIKLOS | MD, FACOG, FACS, FICS

Dr. Miklos is the Director of Atlanta Urogynecology Associates and the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of Atlanta. He completed his 4 year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hahnemann University in 1993, followed by a 2 year fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Vaginal Surgery in Cincinnati, Ohio, and then completed 2 more years in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive reconstructive vaginal surgery in 1997.

Dr. Miklos has 4 more years of vaginal surgery training than the average gynecologist in the United States. In 2002, he pursued his interest in vaginal aesthetic surgery and vaginal rejuvenation under the supervision of pioneering surgeon Dr. David Matlock of Beverly Hills. Dr. Miklos was one of the first gynecologists and the very first urogynecologist in the country to be trained in the subspecialty of vaginal rejuvenation.

Dr. Miklos is considered an international authority in minimally invasive vaginal surgery. Dr. Miklos and his partner, Dr. Moore, have personally operated on patients from more than 47 states and 45 countries. He is Board-Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American College of Surgeons, and the International College of Surgeons. He is a member in good standing with the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American Urogynecology Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecology. Dr. Miklos, along with Dr. Moore, has authored more than 200 scientific papers, book chapters, and scientific abstracts. He also co-authored a text on Vaginal Rejuvenation and Aesthetic Vaginal Surgery which was published in 2006 and released to the public. Dr. Miklos is an internationally recognized lecturer and surgeon who travels more than 100,000 miles per year in the pursuit of surgical purity and success. Because he is a logical thought leader, innovator of surgical concepts and ideas, patients travel from around the country and the world seeking their surgical care from Dr. Miklos and Dr. Moore.


DR. ROBERT MOORE | MD, FACOG, FACS, FICS

Dr. Moore is the Co-Director of the Atlanta Center for Laparoscopic Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, the Atlanta Medical Research Institute, and the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of Atlanta. He is an internationally recognized surgeon who has operated on patients from all over the United States and the world. He is widely known throughout the world for his pioneering techniques in minimally invasive vaginal reconstructive surgery. He, along with his partner, Dr. Miklos, has led the field in the development of laparoscopic pelvic reconstructive techniques and also has been actively involved with graft and mesh technology for vaginal surgery.

Over the past few years alone, Dr. Moore has lectured, taught, and operated in Sweden, Finland, Russia, Greece, Turkey, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Poland, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Australia, and India.

Dr. Moore is a Board-Certified Gynecologist who has additional subspecialty training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, Radical Pelvic Surgery, Laparoscopic Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, and Cosmetic Vaginal Surgery.

Dr. Moore maintains several national and international faculty and teaching appointments. He is a Fellow of the American and International College of Surgeons, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member in good standing with the American Urogynecology Society, the American Urology Association, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He has been instrumental in bringing technology such as the TOT sling and the new Mini-sling to the United States and in 2004, Dr. Moore performed the first Perigee procedure in the country. He is currently the Principal Investigator in numerous studies involving new incontinence and vaginal reconstructive techniques and he has authored more than 150 scientific journal articles, book chapters, and abstracts. Traveling more than 100,000 miles per year, he and Dr. Miklos work together to continue the pursuit of surgical purity and success. Dr. Moore is internationally recognized as an authority on minimally invasive and laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstruction along with vaginal reconstructive surgery.
