Drs. Miklos and Moore Receive Cooper Surgical Spotlight Award

Earlier this year Dr Robert Moore and Dr John Miklos were awarded the Cooper Surgical Spotlight Award for their surgical expertise and advancing education in Gynecologic Surgery. The Spotlight Awards program, sponsored by Cooper Surgical, is designed to honor surgeons for advancing surgical education for their peers. The program provides an opportunity for surgeons to share their best practices while helping educate other physicians to perfect their techniques. This year Cooper Surgical gave out 4 Spotlight Awards worldwide and Dr Moore and Miklos actually won 2 of the 4 awards for their work with the MiniArc Mini Sling and vaginal repair of prolapse with the Anterior Elevate procedure.

Dr Moore and Miklos are award winning internationally renowned master surgeons that are invited throughout the world to teach, operate, and lecture. They have been consecutively named to Castle and Connelly's Top Doctors list, the US Best Doctors List and the Consumer Research Councils America's Top Ob/Gyn list for their work in vaginal and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Drs. Moore and Miklos were some of the first surgeons in the US to perform the both the Mini–sling and the Elevate procedures, and published the first 1 year data on the Mini–arc sling for female stress urinary incontinence. Dr Moore will also present the first multi–center trial on the Elevate procedure at the International Urogynecology Association's annual meeting in Toronto in August of this year.
