Dr. Moore Acts as Main Speaker and International Distinguished Visiting Professor In India
Three short days after returning from Argentina in October (2010), Dr Moore then headed on a long journey to India where he was invited to be the Main Speaker and International Distinguished Visiting Professor at 3 major Urology and Urogynecology Meetings and courses throughout India. He was invited by Dr B. Ramesh to be the Keynote International Speaker and Surgeon at the 4th International Workshop and Congress on Recent Advances in Gynecology, Urogynecology and Gyn Endoscopy (RAGE) in Bangalore, India on 23/24 October 2010. The RAGE meeting is one of the largest meetings in India annually on minimally invasive gyn surgery and is attended by over 600 surgeons from all over India, with many surgeons travelling days to come to just attend the meeting. After hearing the news that Dr Moore was coming to India, several other Institutions throughout India then invited Dr Moore to speak and lecture and host Operating Workshops at their Institutions.

Dr. Miklos invited to Germany to lecture and demonstrate his unique laparoscopic skills & techniques in a "live" surgery
The reputation of Dr. Miklos and Dr. Moore’s world-renowned surgical techniques have traveled to Frankfurt, Germany, where Dr. John R Miklos was asked to be a featured guest at the Gynaecological Clinic of the Districk Clincis of Darmstadt-Dieburg. A colleague in Germany that met and participated in Dr. Miklos's lectures and live surgeries when he traveled to Moscow in 2007 and 2009 personally invited him to share his expertise.
The main emphasis of this clinic will be on minimally invasive vaginal and laparoscopic procedures for stress-related urinary incontinence and descensus genitalis. Dr. Miklos has been invited to present his incomparable operating techniques to the congress attendees. He will be lecturing on vesicovaginal fistulas and will perform a live laparoscopic (uterine suspension) hysteropexy.

Drs. Miklos and Moore completed live telesurgery today at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA on two women that was broadcast LIVE on the internet throughout the world. They were asked by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and their sister organization, SurgeryU, to host the first ever live surgical event for the new monthly series that will feature top surgeons from all over the world.

Patient Flies 4,500 Miles to have her Fistula CURED in Atlanta
Here at Atlanta Urogynecology (AUA) we have two things to celebrate this month. First and MOST IMPORTANTLY we just SUCCESSFULLY treated our 12th patient for vesicovaginal fistula in the last 11 months. Very few surgeons have the opportunity treat more than one or two fistulas in a career. Secondly the patient came from HAWAII and we can now say we have surgically treated patients from 47 of our 50 states.
Here at Atlanta Urogynecology we are beaming with pride that this pleasant woman would entrust her care to us, after failing 3 procedures in Hawaii. She flew more than 4500 miles with her husband and children to have her surgery done at Northside Hospital in Atlanta Ga. What an honor for Dr Miklos & Moore!

VESICOVAGINAL FISTULA EXPERTS SINCE 1997
Drs Miklos & Moore have been performing laparoscopic vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) repairs since 1997. This can be proven by clicking here - showing two of the first papers ever written (1997 & 1999) on the laparoscopic repair of bladder fistulas. On February 26th, world renowned vaginal reconstructive surgeons, Dr Moore and Miklos traveled to Dubai for the second time to Chair an International Program in Medicine on Laparoscopic Urogynecology. They were invited back by the Royal College secondary to their reputations as being two of the top vaginal reconstructive surgeons in the world. On January 27-31, Dr. Miklos and Dr. Moore chaired the first ever Global Symposium on Cosmetic Vaginal Surgery at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeon's Annual Scientific Meeting in Orlando, FL.
